Department of Physics is one of the basic science departments of JNTUA College of Engineering, Pulivendula, The department of Physics has been engaged in imparting the fundamental education in Engineering Physics so as to enable the students to master the engineering concepts and become good technocrats. The faculty of the department is well qualified. They have the expertise with a strong commitment in teaching Engineering Physics to under graduate Engineering students and are actively engaged in research activities. The Department offers ‘Engineering Physics’ subject in the first year B.Tech. Course for all Engineering branches. The emphasis at the curricular level is to give a broad coverage of the concepts of physics in keeping with the interdisciplinary nature of the subject today.
