PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO)

P1. To prepare students to excel in undergraduate programmer/ technical profession.

P2. To provide students with a solid foundation in mathematical, scientific and engineering

      fundamentals required to solve engineering problems and also to pursue higher studies.

P3.To train students with good scientific and engineering breadth so as to comprehend, analyze, design, and create novel products and solutions for the real life problems through practical experience in workshop and machines laboratory.

P4. To inculcate in student’s professional and ethical attitude, effective communication skills, team work skills, multidisciplinary approach and an ability to relate engineering issues to broader social context.

 

 

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (PO)

(a) An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering

(b) An ability to design and conduct experiments as well as to analyze and interpret data

(c) An ability to design a system, component or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability and sustainability

(d) An ability to function on multidisciplinary teams

(e) An ability to identify formulates and solves engineering problems

(f) An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility

(g) An ability to communicate effectively

(h) The broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental and social context

(i) A recognition of the need for and an ability to engage in life-long learning

(j) A knowledge of contemporary issues
